Compositing Kickstarter is the Nuke Fundamentals 12 week training program
This program is meant for you if you want to learn nuke from scratch. This is an intensive 3 month program where you will learn everything you need to know to get started as a Digital Compositor.
Is this program for me?
If you have previous experience in software's like after effects and want to transition into nuke, if you are an artists trying to get started as a digital compositor or a 3D professional wanting to learn how to composite as an added skill this program is for you! No previous experience is required you will learn everything from the very begining.
What to expect?
Weekly 2 hour lessons with personal guidance and structured curriculum that will cover the fundamentals in digital compositing, will require commitment, weekly tasks, weekly feedback, node graph script reviews and creative feedback. Access to support and Q&A sessions 2 times a week.
What will you learn?
Week 1 : What is Digital Compositing and nuke? Software Interface intro to node base systems
Week 2 : Node Structures, node graph guidelines, script efficiency and channel management
Week 3 : Color Grading and 2D tracking
Week 4 : Rotoscoping and Paint traditional approach and machine learning assisted tooling
Week 5 : Keying, types of keyers, multiple extraction techniques and industry standard quality check
Week 6 : Camera Projection, Nuke 3D, rendering and node graph optimization
Week 7 : 3D Camera Tracking, lenses, artifacts and retimes
Week 8 : 2D and 3D Element Integration , good compositing habits and node graph organization
Week 9 : CG Compositing how to integrate 3D, use multilayer renders, utility passes and relighting
Week 10: Creative compositing how to create multiple different effects and looks
Week 11: Particle systems in nuke 3D
Week 12: Deep Composting and nuke expressions
At the end of this course you will have enough tools to start creating your demoreel.
